Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
Welcome to Delhi: - Royal Rajasthan tour will start with your arrival at Delhi the capital of India. Get grand reception at airport arrival by Trojan Holidays representative. Later, get transfer to the hotel. Spend the day at leisure and enjoying shopping. Come back to hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 02: Delhi
After healthy breakfast in the morning day free for own leisure activities, overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi Sightseeing
Excursion of two Contrast: - After a leisurely breakfast take a sightseeing tour of New Delhi
NEW DELHI - An extensive sightseeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit to the Humayun's Tomb, the Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate -was built by Edwin Lutyens to pay homage to the Indian soldiers who died in the World War I and the Afgan War. Closely looking at the walls of India Gate would let you know the names of 90,000 soldiers who died during the World War I, the Afgan War and the North-West Frontier operations. The structure was finally completed in the year 1931. India Gate was originally called the All India War Memorial., Laxmi Narayan Temple also known as Birla Temple - one of the landmarks in the nation’s capital New Delhi. It was built in the 20th century by the Birla family of industrialists known for its many other temples in India. It is modern in concept and construction. It attracts several devotees and international tourists. The presiding deity here is Lakshmi Narayan (Vishnu), Parliament House, the President's Residence and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave. Visit qutub Minar built by mughals.
The evening is free to be spent at your leisure, night stay in Delhi.
Day 04: Delhi Sightseeing
Excursion of two Contrast: - After a leisurely breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Old Delhi.
OLD DELHI - A sightseeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting the Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi is one of the most visited sites in Delhi. It consists of a simple square black-marble platform that stands on the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Nearby, there are cremation sites of Jawaharlal Nehru - the first Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi, Sanjay Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.
Day 05: Delhi to Agra (220 kms drive by road)
Drive to Agra: - On the 5th day after breakfast you will drive to Agra assisted by Trojan Holidays representative.
Day 06: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Ranthambore (210 kms/ 04 hrs drive)
After healthy breakfast in the morning check out from the hotel and proceed to Ranthambore national park. enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri- perfectly preserved red sandstone “ghost town” which was the estranged capital of mughal emperor Akbar, built in 1569 and deserted when its water supply failed. wildlife tour will start with your arrival at Ranthambore.
Ranthambore-famous for the wildlife sanctuary which is said to have the India’s friendliest Tigers and also considered to be the best place in the world to photograph the tiger in its natural habitat, also a wonderful place for bird watching, Arrive Ranthambore & in the afternoon visit the Ranthambore fort by jeep. Night stay in Ranthambore.
Day 07: Ranthambore
Early morning 3 hrs Jungle safari in a Canter (a vehicle which is open on the top) enjoy the game viewing in the national park and back to the hotel. After lunch second visit to jungle and enjoy the game viewing again. Night stay in Ranthambore.
Day 08: Ranthambore – Jaipur (130 kms/ 03 hrs drive by road)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Jaipur. - the fabled "pink city" of the desert named after Jai Singh, the former Maharaja of Jaipur. This is the only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe through the nine rectangular sectors subdividing it. The palaces and forts of the yesteryears, which were witnesses to the royal processions and splendors, are now living monuments. Reach there in the afternoon and check in at the hotel.
Day 09: Jaipur Sightseeing – Jaisalmer (overnight train)
Jaipur Sightseeing: - On the 5th day, enjoy breakfast and go for Jaipur excursion.
Amber Fort: - Visit Amber fort the Rajput capital and the trip begins with elephant ride or jeep safari to reach the fort located at the hilltop. Capture its architectural preciseness, temples, Ganesha Idol, museum, cannon, wall artistry, and stone work is really unforgettable.
Day 10: Jaisalmer (270 kms drive by Road)
After Jaisalmer in the morning check in at the hotel and day free for own leisure activities, in the evening visit Sand dunes, do the camel safari and enjoy the cultural night with dinner, come back to the hotel and overnight stay in Jaisalmer.
Day 11: Jaisalmer
After a relaxed breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing tour of The Golden City - Jaisalmer. It is in the heart of the Great Indian Desert. Its temple, fort and palaces are all built of yellow stone. The city is a mass of intricately carved buildings,facades and elaborate balconies. Visit the JAISALMER FORT - The oldest living Fort in the world. (This is the highlight of the tour).
Day 12: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur (250 kms drive by Road)
After breakfast drive to Jodhpur & transfer to hotel. In the afternoon city sightseeing tour of Jodhpur, stronghold of the fierce Rathore clan, was founded in 1459 by Prince Jodha. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill. Within the fort, visit Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble cenotaph, built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant singh II around 1899 and Umaid Public gardens, Evening at leisure. Night stay in Jodhpur.
Day 13: Jodhpur – Cochin (by flight) Arrival Cochin
After healthy breakfast in the morning check out from the hotel and drive to airport to board your flight to Cochin, On arrival at Cochin you will be welcome by Trojan Holiday’s travel assistant and later get transferred to your hotel. A city tucked in the beauty of coconut palms and endless blue waters is one of the important towns in South India, with a natural Harbor. Cochin - Kochi (colonial name Cochin) is a vibrant city situated on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtakingly scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, hailed as 'God's Own Country'. Its strategic importance over the centuries is underlined by the sobriquet Queen of the Arabian Sea. Informally, Cochin is also referred to as the Gateway to Kerala.
Rest day is free at leisure. Overnight in Cochin.
Day 14: Cochin
Cochin Sightseeing: - Hop on your private car to visit the popular attractions at Cochin. The attractions to travel around are "Fort Cochin, Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing nets, Muttanchery Palace, Hill Palace Museum, & Bolgatti Island".
Visit Famed Marine drive: - Marine drive is the crown of attractions at Cochin. The sights to discover amidst boat cruise at Marine drive are naval base, harbor, & Mangalavanam Island.
After sightseeing, you may go for shopping jewelries, handicrafts, and spices from local market. Enjoy at evening "KATHAKALI" performance by local artists, and relish on Keralian cuisine. Overnight stay at Cochin.
Day 15: Cochin – Munnar (140 kms by road)
From Cochin to Munnar: - On the 15th day have breakfast and proceed to Munnar. The journey to Munnar is filled with amazing sights of Valara, Cheeyappara waterfalls, Karadippara view point, low flying clouds, dew drenched forests, & foggy valleys. After the awe-stuck drive from Cochin to Munnar, take rest on arrival at Munnar resort. In the evening go out for shopping, local sightseeing, and spend the time on leisure.
Day 16: Munnar Hill Station Sightseeing
16th Day Munnar Discovery: - Trojan Holiday’s representative will assist you after breakfast; for the 16th day itinerary. It is a tribute to fascinating attractions of Munnar beloved as the Kashmir of South India.
The expedition to discover the heart of Munnar covers Mattupetty Lake, Kundale Lake, Rajamalai National Park, Echo Point, Mattupetty Dam, & Blossom Garden. The unique attractions of Munnar to witness are Tata Tea Museum, trekking at Anaimudi Peak, and spotting a Nilgiri Tahr (rare wild Goat) at Rajamalai National Park. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 17: Munnar – Alleppey Backwaters Magic (50 kms)
By road from Munnar to Alapuzzha: - On Arrival leave on your private houseboat and sail across on the Backwaters, an awesome region full of trenches, canals, lakes and inlets.
Cruise on Kettuvallam: - The houseboats or "Kettuvallam" are lavish boats with lavishly designed rooms and attached bathrooms. You can sunbathe on the deck or watch the palm fringed sleepy villages from your cabins. Separated from the exotic sceneries it’s the life along the coast that adds a touch of exotica to this experience.
Capture God’s Own Country: - The locals' sail in kayaks and you will find vegetable dealers, fishermen’s, and different merchants bringing self produced goods, route to entryway in minor wooden vessels. As you journey along the backwaters you can ask your captain to stop at villages, paddy fields and different places, en-route. Stay overnight in the houseboat floating in the waters.
Day 18: Alleppey – Kovalam (By road 190 Kms)
In the morning after breakfast disembark the boat, and drive to Kovalam - is one of the most popular beach hangouts in India. Kovalam means a grove of coconut trees and truly the coconut trees along the beaches gives it a ravishing look. The palm-fringed bays in secluded coconut groves, promise a relaxed stay. The boundless blue waters of the Arabian Sea and miles of white sands washed away by the surf at the feet of the stalwart palms and the rocky promontories, makes this beach paradise. On arrival, check in at the Hotel. Rest the day is free at leisure on the beach, may take Ayurvedic massage or treatment at the hotel on direct payment basis. Overnight in the Hotel.
Day 19: Kovalam - Kanyakumari – Kovalam
After breakfast same day excursion to Kanyakumari (87 Kms) - is the southernmost point of peninsular India and the meeting point of three oceans-the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. Besides its importance as a Hindu pilgrim center, it is famous for its beautiful views of sunrise and sunset over the waters. The multicolored sand is a unique feature of the beach here. Visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial. This memorial to Swami Vivekananda was built in 1970. Vivekananda was a social reformer and saint of modern India. He is supposed to have meditated on the rock where the memorial stands. Ferry service is available to reach the rock memorial Visit the Sangam which is the meeting point of the three major bodies of water, the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. Drive back to Kovalam. Evening free to relax at beach, overnight at the Hotel.
Day 20: Kovalam –Trivandrum – Delhi (by flight)
After healthy breakfast in the morning check out from the hotel and proceed to airport to board your flight to Delhi, Reach Delhi in the afternoon and check in at the hotel and day free for own leisure activities, overnight at the hotel.
Day 21: Delhi
