Day wise Travel Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival at Delhi
Welcome to Delhi: - Royal Rajasthan tour will start with your arrival at Delhi the capital of India. Get grand reception at airport arrival by Trojan Holidays representative. Later, get transfer to the hotel. Spend the day at leisure and enjoying shopping. Come back to hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 : Delhi – Varanasi (by flight)
After breakfast in the morning transfer to airport to board your flight to Varanasi. Said to be the India’s most sacred city situated on the western bank of the holy river Ganga. It is also the oldest living city in the world. As a place for devotion and worship, with hundreds of temples dotting the city, sunrise on the river front as seen from a boat can be a spiritually uplifting sight. It has a fascination uniquely its own, a quality of sublime beauty, a timeless eternal appeal. Varanasi is the city which cannot be described, only experienced. Arrive Varanasi and transfer to hotel. Evening view “Aarti” ceremony on the Ghats. Night stay in Varanasi.
Day 3 : Varanasi Sightseeing
After breakfast in the morning proceed for boat cruise at the river Ganges to observe the way of life of pilgrims by the Ghats. Later excursion to Sarnath, 10kms & East of Varanasi, is the place where Buddha chose to deliver his first sermon. The celebrated Mantra, 'Buddham Sharanam Gachhami', owes its origin to Sarnath. On the day before his death Buddha included Sarnath along with Lumbini, Bodh Gaya and Kushinagar as the four places he thought to be sacred to his followers. It makes Sarnath one of the most venerated Buddhist places. Besides Buddhism, Sarnath is also connected with Jainism. There are many Buddhist monuments and edifices in Sarnath. Some of the important Buddhist monuments at Sarnath are the Dhamekha stupa, the Chaukhandi stupa and monasteries and temples of different schools of Buddhism from Japan, China, Thailand, Burma and others. The Indian Buddhist society called Mahabodhi Society maintains a park around the Buddha temple. The Mahabodhi Temple within the park has a tooth relic of the Buddha. There is also a vast expanse of ancient ruins at Sarnath. Several Buddhist structures were raised at Sarnath between the 3rd century BC and the 11th century AD, and today it presents the most expansive ruins amongst places on the Buddhist trail. The Ashoka pillar of Sarnath is the National emblem of India. Also visit the deer park and the museum and later back to Varanasi. Come back to the hotel in the evening and night stay in Varanasi.
Day 4 : Varanasi to Agra (By Fly)
Fly to Agra: - On the 5th day after breakfast you will drive to Varanasi Airport to fly to Agra. Upon arrival we will drive to Hotel and after sometime we will drive for sightseeing of Agra.
Day 5 : Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur (260 kms drive by road)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Jaipur. - the fabled "pink city" of the desert named after Jai Singh, the former Maharaja of Jaipur. This is the only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe through the nine rectangular sectors subdividing it. The palaces and forts of the yesteryears, which were witnesses to the royal processions and splendors, are now living monuments. Reach there in the afternoon and check in at the hotel, In evening visit Chokhi Dhani the village fun center. The adventure park exhibits village fair and spreads across 10 acres of desert and natural landscape adorned with machaans, platforms, and varied folk artists performing. Rejoice the vibes of real Rajasthani culture amidst fair, rides, camel safari, head massage, future prediction, and endless festivals. Traditional huts with workmanship are all about splendor, hospitality, and village lifestyles. Later, enjoy buffet dinner with delicious Rajasthani cuisine at Chokhi Dhani. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 : Jaipur - Udaipur (Drive by Road)
Morning drive to Udaipur-an oasis in the desert state of Rajasthan. In the midway visit to Kota & visit the palace, museum & also visit the fort city Bundi. Night stay in Kota. Arrive Udaipur and transfer to hotel. Night stay in Udaipur.
Day 7 : Udaipur
Morning city sightseeing tour of Udaipur is built in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh, the city has been described as the most romantic spot on the continent of India by Col. James Todd. Visit the City Palace museum, the Jagdish temple, Sahelion Ki Bari ( Queen’s resort for their friends) Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir ( Folk art museum) and the Pratap Memorial. Evening at leisure. Night stay in Udaipur.
Day 8 : Udaipur - Jodhpur (250 kms drive by Road)
After breakfast drive to Jodhpur & transfer to hotel. In the afternoon city sightseeing tour of Jodhpur, stronghold of the fierce Rathore clan, was founded in 1459 by Prince Jodha. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill. Within the fort, visit Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble cenotaph, built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant singh II around 1899 and Umaid Public gardens, Evening at leisure. Night stay in Jodhpur.
Day 9 : Jodhpur - Jaisalmer (270 kms drive by Road)
After healthy breakfast in the morning check out from the hotel and drive through Kheechan village (famous for its migratory cranes) and finally Jaisalmer & transfer to hotel. Night stay in Jaisalmer.
Day 10 : Jaisalmer Sightseeing
After a relaxed breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing tour of The Golden City - Jaisalmer. It is in the heart of the Great Indian Desert. Its temple, fort and palaces are all built of yellow stone. The city is a mass of intricately carved buildings,facades and elaborate balconies. Visit the JAISALMER FORT - The oldest living Fort in the world. (This is the highlight of the tour).
Day 11 : Jaisalmer - Bikaner (330 kms drive by Road)
After healthy breakfast in the morning drive to Bikaner& transfer to hotel. Evening at leisure, Night stay in Bikaner.
Day 12 : Bikaner Sightssing
After breakfast visit the Junagarh Fort, constructed between 1588 and 1593 by Raja Jai Singh, a general in the Moghul Emperor Akbar's army and the Karnimata Temple at Deshnok. Also visit the prestigious camel breeding farm in the evening. Night stay in Bikaner.
Day 13 : Bikaner- Mandawa (250 kms drive by Road)
Morning drive through the Tal Chhaper Deer Sanctuary and finally reach this cute little town Mandawa. Arrive & transfer to hotel. Later go for a walk in the town and survey some of the most beautiful frescoes in the Havelis of Dundlod, Laxmangarh, Nawalgarh and Mukundgarh. Night stay in Mandawa.
Day 14 : Mandawa – Delhi
After healthy breakfast in the morning check out from the hotel and drive to Delhi. Reach by afternoon and check in at the hotel, evening free for leisure activities, and overnight at the hotel.
Day 15 : Delhi – Amritsar (By Flight)
Have your breakfast and we will drive to New Delhi Airport for the flight to Amritsar. Arrive at Amritsar airport welcomed by Trojan Holidays Representative and then proceed to hotel check in and in the afternoon visit Golden Temple- the most sacred temple for Sikhs. It is a symbol of the magnificence and strength of the Sikh people all over the world. In the evolution of the Darbar Sahib, is entwined the history and ideology of Sikhism. In its architecture are included, symbols associated with other places of worship. This is an example of the spirit of tolerance and acceptance that the Sikh philosophy propounds. Afternoon visit Jallianwala Bagh- Martyrs’ Memorial built in the shape of eternal flame of liberty is situated on the outskirts of Golden Temple.
Day 16 : Amritsar - Delhi (By flight)
After the breakfast we will drive to Amritsar Airport for the flight to Delhi. Upon Arrival we will drive to Hotel. Take some rest and if you wish we will start with your arrival at Delhi the capital of India. Get grand reception at airport arrival by Trojan Holidays representative. Later, get transfer to the hotel. Spend the day at leisure and enjoying shopping. Come back to hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 17 : Delhi Sightseeing
Excursion of two Contrast: - After a leisurely breakfast take a sightseeing tour of New Delhi where ornate buildings recall the days when India was the Jewel in the crown of the British empire. Visit the 11th century Qutab Minar, India Gate and the grand government buildings, the President’s House, Red fort, Mahatama Gandhi Memorial, Akshardham temple. Also visit Laxmi Narayan temple popularly known as Birla Temple. Night stay in Delhi.
Day 18 : Delhi – by flight Departure
After breakfast in the morning check out from the hotel and proceed to airport to board your flight to home, reach Delhi airport to board your onwards flight back home with sweet memories of India.
